Al Timber
The Challenge

The starting point
and the problem.

Al Timber Ltd had a strong product range and an established reputation for quality, but their ability to sell online was not keeping pace with the business. Customers looking to purchase a log cabin or garden office had no smooth online journey to follow, and the company had no way to manage inventory, take orders, or process payments through their website.

For a business selling large, customisable items at significant price points, the e-commerce solution needed to be purpose-built. A generic off-the-shelf setup would not handle the complexity of their inventory or give customers the confidence to complete a high-value purchase online.

Our Approach

How we made
it happen.

We designed the website around the nature of Al Timber's products, using high-resolution photography that shows the craftsmanship in each structure. The visual design is clean and grounded, with earthy tones and straightforward navigation that makes browsing the full product range straightforward.

Rather than a standard e-commerce template, we built a bespoke platform designed specifically for Al Timber's requirements. The solution supports detailed product listings for items like customisable cabins and garages, secure payment processing, order tracking, and inventory management. A blog section and customer FAQ were also built in, giving potential buyers the information they need to make confident purchasing decisions.

The site was built to be fully responsive, so customers can browse and purchase from any device. We finished the project with a one-hour training session covering how to add new products, update existing listings, manage customer orders, and keep the site content fresh.

Al Timber Ltd now has a full e-commerce website that lets customers browse their entire product range and complete purchases directly online. The bespoke platform handles the complexity of their inventory, and the order management tools give the team visibility and control over every sale.

The blog and FAQ sections mean customers arrive better informed, which helps them make decisions more confidently. The training session ensured the team could take over the day-to-day management of the site from launch.
