The Community Inclusion Awards, a prestigious Peterborough event celebrating contributions to equality, diversity, and inclusion, needed a website that matched their profile and made ticketing easy. We built a custom site with online ticket sales integrated directly into the design, and trained the awards committee to manage it all themselves.

The starting point
and the problem.

The Community Inclusion Awards celebrate some of the most meaningful contributions to equality, diversity, and inclusion in the Peterborough community. An event of that significance deserved a website that matched its standing. But beyond looking the part, the committee also needed a practical tool: a way for people to buy tickets to the gala dinner and ceremony online, without friction.

Simplifying event management was as important as the design itself. The committee needed a site they could update with nominee information, event news, and winner announcements, without needing technical support every time something changed.

Our Approach

How we made
it happen.

We designed an elegant, informative website that reflected the prestige of the awards and gave visitors a clear overview of the event: categories, nominees, their stories, and the community impact being celebrated. The layout made it straightforward to navigate between different sections, and the design was built to be fully responsive across all devices.

For ticketing, we integrated an e-commerce system tailored to the awards, providing a secure and straightforward purchasing journey for gala dinner and ceremony tickets. The checkout experience was designed to match the site's branding so the process felt consistent from start to finish.

Upon completion, we provided an hour of detailed training covering website management, event content updates, ticket management, and order processing, giving the committee the skills to run the site independently.
