Greystone Heritage is a Northamptonshire-based building and restoration company specialising in traditional craftsmanship and period property work. They came to us with no existing website and needed a digital presence that communicated the care, precision, and heritage-led approach that defines their work.

The starting point
and the problem.
Greystone Heritage carries out thoughtful restoration and construction using time-honoured methods and a deep respect for historic buildings. Their work requires patience, skill, and a genuine understanding of period materials and techniques. Yet none of this was visible online. Without a website, potential clients had no way to discover the company, understand their expertise, or get a sense of the values that guide their approach.
The brief was to build a digital home from scratch, one that communicated their calm, measured way of working and showed the quality of the buildings they restore. It needed to feel as considered and unhurried as the work itself. Generic, fast, or template-driven would not do. The site had to feel as if it had been crafted with the same respect for detail that their team brings to every restoration project.
We began by creating a clear wireframe to plan the structure of the site: how visitors would move through it, how services would be presented, and how the Greystone Heritage story would unfold. This step ensured every section had a clear purpose before we moved into full visual design.
How we made
it happen.
Once the structure was agreed, we moved into full visual design with the qualities that define Greystone Heritage at the centre of every decision: calm, traditional, grounded, and respectful. A rich, muted colour palette combined with warm gold accents created an atmosphere inspired by period materials and architectural character. Typography was chosen for its timeless quality, supporting a tone that is refined and confident without being cold.
Large-scale imagery plays a central role in the site, giving visitors a genuine sense of the craftsmanship behind the work. Subtle animations were introduced to add gentle movement and depth without ever distracting from the content. The result is a design that feels steady and intentional, completely aligned with the nature of what Greystone Heritage does.
We built the site with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and smooth interactions. Every detail from the design was implemented carefully, from the page layouts to the transitions between sections. High-resolution imagery was optimised for clarity without sacrificing speed. The finished site is clean, reliable, and true to the character of the business it represents.
