Hairy Dogs is a Market Deeping-based business offering premium dog grooming services and ethically sourced pet products. We designed and built a bespoke e-commerce website that gives the business a vibrant, professional platform to showcase both their grooming services and their product range.

The Challenge

The starting point
and the problem.

Hairy Dogs has built a loyal following around a clear purpose: putting dogs' wellbeing first, inside and out. Their grooming services are personal and attentive, and their product range is carefully chosen for quality and ethical sourcing. But their existing website did not communicate any of this well. The site had a generic layout with limited brand identity, uninspiring visuals, and a product structure that made browsing feel unintuitive.

Customers landing on the site had no clear sense of what made Hairy Dogs different from any other pet grooming and retail business. The product pages lacked the context and storytelling needed to explain why each product was chosen, and the grooming services were not presented in a way that conveyed the level of personal care on offer. The site was not turning visitors into customers as effectively as it should.

They came to us looking for a website that felt as considered and personal as the service they provide. The design needed to capture the warmth and personality of the brand while also delivering a proper e-commerce experience with clear product organisation and a smooth purchase journey.

The product range was structured to help customers find what they are looking for quickly, with filtering by protein and health benefit making it straightforward to discover the right products for individual dogs. Grooming services were given their own space, with clear descriptions and visual support that communicates the personal, attentive nature of the care on offer.

The site was built as a fully responsive e-commerce platform, with smooth animations and intuitive navigation throughout. The product pages and service descriptions are designed to inform and reassure, making it easy for customers to explore, understand, and purchase with confidence.
