Jo L'acqua is a jewellery brand known for its high-quality sterling silver pieces. We built a bespoke e-commerce website that moved the business beyond Amazon and gave them a direct sales channel, complete with training and an ongoing maintenance package.

The starting point
and the problem.

Jo L'acqua had been selling exclusively through Amazon, which gave them a sales channel but none of the brand presence or customer relationship that comes with owning your own platform. On a marketplace, every product sits alongside competitors; there is no brand story, no designed experience, and no direct line to the customer after a purchase.

Moving to their own e-commerce website meant giving Jo L'acqua full control: over how their pieces are presented, how customers discover them, and how the brand communicates over time. The site needed to be beautiful enough to showcase sterling silver jewellery at its best, and functional enough to handle the full sales process independently.

Our Approach

How we made
it happen.

We opened the design process by focusing on what makes Jo L'acqua's jewellery distinctive: the detail and craftsmanship of sterling silver work. The site uses elegant typography, a considered colour palette, and high-resolution product photography to give each piece the attention it deserves. The result is a browsing experience that feels far removed from a marketplace listing.

The e-commerce platform was built to support the full purchasing journey: detailed product listings, secure checkout, and support for multiple payment methods. Crucially, Jo L'acqua now owns their customer data and sales history, giving them insight and control that was simply not available through Amazon.

We ran a one-hour training session after launch, covering inventory management, order processing, and content updates. Jo L'acqua also opted for our website maintenance package, covering ongoing security updates, software patches, and technical support to keep the platform running reliably.
