The Challenge

The starting point
and the problem.

LC Computers has built a strong reputation over nearly two decades of providing reliable IT support and repairs for both homes and businesses. They are known for their clear communication, fast turnaround, and personal approach, all qualities that made them a trusted name in Melton Mowbray. But their website was not keeping pace with the business. It no longer reflected the professionalism or the growth that had taken place since 2005.

The site needed to serve two distinct audiences: home users looking for friendly, accessible help with personal devices, and business clients needing dependable IT support. Communicating well with both groups, without creating a confusing or unfocused experience, was one of the central design challenges.

Before moving into design, we created a detailed wireframe to map out the structure, including the homepage, services overview, and contact flow. This collaborative step allowed us to address questions of navigation and audience early, before committing to the visual direction.

We redesigned the site from the ground up, focusing on a clean, modern layout that reflects LC Computers' approachable yet professional character. Structured content blocks, a warm visual tone, and clear calls to action make the site easy to navigate for both home and business visitors. Design elements throughout reference the company's values: speed, clarity, and strong local roots.

The build prioritised smooth performance and responsiveness across all devices. Carefully considered animations and subtle interactions bring the design to life without slowing the site down or distracting from the core message. The result is a fast, confident website that builds trust from the first visit.

To support LC Computers' content ambitions, we built custom CMS collections for blog posts, case studies, and testimonials. This gives the team a practical way to share updates, highlight client success stories, and keep fresh feedback visible throughout the site, all without needing technical involvement for routine content changes.
